Welcome Reviewers!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve often contemplated whether the sleep you desperately need is more important than the book you’re reading.  That’s why I’ve named my business, “Books Over Sleep“, because readers like us, most often than not, choose “books” over “sleep”. 

Who needs sleep? when you have a great book!  Not me for sure!

By now you’ve probably figured out that I am an Author’s Assistant, but you probably haven’t figured out that I need your help.

Why?

One of the most important things to authors (and readers) are reviews.  Reviews can be a big deciding factor in whether or not a reader picks up a book, and a great review can make a writer’s day.  Throughout my time as an Author’s Assistant, I have contacted hundreds of different reviewers, requesting that they read my author’s book(s).  Unfortunately, most of the time, the reviewer either wasn’t accepting requests for reviews, didn’t like the specific book I was looking to have reviewed, or never responded.  It was a rare reviewer who actually accepted my request, a measly 1 out of 20 on average; and it was a less-impressive half of those who actually followed through with their promise to review.

That’s why I’m asking you to let me add you to my roster of available reviewers, so you’ll be emailed when I receive a new book in need of reviews.  I’d like to build a relationship with you because your time matters – and I know how much of a commitment you take on with every review request you accept.

How can you help?

If you are interested in being added to my reviewer roster, please fill out this short Reviewer Roster form.  Your name/email will not be shared with others and you’ll only receive emails about the books you are interested in (or at least I hope you will be).  If at any time you would like to be taken off my list, or you are temporarily not accepting requests, all you have to do is respond to my email to tell me so.  It’s that easy!  If you would like to be added to my mailing list to receive notifications when there are books available for review, please sign up for our Read 4 Review Newsletter.
